Nanotech Spirit base

Is a solvent free silicone concentrate that is based on silane/ silxane and used diluted with organic solvents. It is an organic solvents and a high quality general purpose water repellent impregnating and priming mineral and highly alkaline substrates.

• Good penetration capacity

• High alkaline drying • Tack free drying

• Water repellence develops fast

• Effective even on damp substrates

• After application NANOTECH SPIRIT BASE reacts with the atmospheric pressure or pore water in the substrate, thereby generating the active ingredient and liberating alkaloid.

• The active ingredient lowers the water absorbency of the substrate.

• Since neither pores nor capillaries are clogged, the substrate detains a very high degree of water vapour permeability.


Must be stored in tightly sealed container at room temperature. Store away from direct sunlight. For optimum results use before expiry date. Should NANOTECH SPIRIT BASE to be used after expiry date, it is not necessarily unusable but a quality control check should be performed on the property to be treated prior to relevant application.

Freshly impregnated materials should be protected against immediate of rain. Repeated treatments must be avoided on materials already tried, as these materials could not absorb the solution.

• Not suitable for rendering gypsum water repellent.
